Nobleboro Central School : Lake Lore
Although not Lake Lore in the true sense of the term, we have decided to put our map quests in this section of the Students' Portal. These little exercises are designed to have the reader go on a little search using the clues presented. The ultimate destination will be something associated with water close to or in Nobleboro. You will need internet access for the task, but since you are reading this introduction on-line, then we are assuming that you have internet access .......hmmmmmm.
We tried to be somewhat creative and hope that you have at least a little bit of fun. |
Our teacher, Mr. WIll, thought it would be a super cool idea for us (8th graders at Nobleboro Central School) to do a little web based map quest about lakes in Nobleboro. So, that being said, we have created a riddle for you to solve. Read the clues below to find out what we think is one of the prettiest lakes in town.
*GOOD LUCK*
The name of the lake is an alliteration.
Don’t worry it’s in our nation.
There’s some small cottages and a little campground.
This lake is in two towns.
It is also the name of a beach in New Harbor.
This quest is only a little bit harder to figure out.
For your final clue click to the MLCI web site all right?
Then get a map of Nobleboro and you will discover the secret location you’ve been trying to discover. |
So, the "schpeil" (Mr. Will's spelling, not ours) is that you, lucky sleuth get to decipher our delightful quest to find our lake. Follow the clues below to nudge your way to the end of your quest.
HAVE SOME FUN FOLKS!!
Think of the third president. His name is where you want to go.
